In celebrating of the life of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., we acknowledge his leadership continues to inspire our nation, and the world.
I believe Dr. King’s message is as poignant today as it has ever been, and that’s why those of us who have dedicated ourselves to social work must strive to remain humble and reinforce the strength of the families and children that depend on us, through the community mindfulness and guidance Dr. King preached.
While our work can be challenging, reflecting on Dr. King’s mission and sacrifice can renew and fortify us as we help others build brighter and more rewarding futures.
As we approach Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, please join me in remembering Dr. King, whose message continues to light our way. There are several ways to participate in the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service events around New Jersey.
